Tyler Ennis Activated off of Injured Reserve

The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that Tyler Ennis is being activated off of the Injured Reserve today.
His injury was a broken ankle, as suffered on a December 22nd game against the New York Rangers, by a shot from the point from the Leafs’ Norris-candidate defenseman Morgan Rielly.
Ennis has 11 points so far this season in the 33 games he has played. As a fourth line contributor for the Leafs, he will likely slot back in that place upon his return. In all likelihood, the diminutive forward will replace Frederik Gauthier in the lineup, who has been the 13th forward for the Leafs this year, subbing in for all injuries.
The fourth line will probably consist of Ennis alongside Swedes Par Lindholm and Andreas Johnsson when the Leafs face, somewhat ironically, the New York Rangers this Sunday evening.
Martin Marincin was waived earlier this week to make room for his return.
