Admit it, you’re a little worried.
The Leafs have lost four in a row for the second time this season and while you don’t need to worry about everything, the fun honeymoon period where Mitch Marner scored every night and the Leafs would have this lead from the opening faceoff is a distant memory now. With a 14-point lead over the Florida Panthers for third in the division (that can drop to as low as 6 with Florida’s four games in hand), the sense of urgency isn’t fully there but still within sight.
So what would you do to get things going again? Keep Matt Martin in the lineup? Call up someone from the Marlies? Tell Nazem Kadri to dive more and draw a couple penalties? Make Mike Babcock play defence himself?
