Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Mason Marchment will be sidelined two to three months with an upper body injury, sources tell The Leafs Nation
Marchment got banged up in the first period of last nights tilt against the Laval Rocket. Sources say the injury is significant.
This setback could not have come at a worse time for Marchment. The 6’4 winger started out last nights game in Carl Grundstroms old spot in the lineup alongside Josh Jooris and Sam Gagner. Marchment was due for a role increase, be it at even-strength or out in front of the net on the power play.
The Uxbridge ONT native has recorded 23 points in 40 AHL games this season.
